What's up? I've lived in Melitopol for a few years, and never realized there are so many people who speak English so well here... May be we should get together and make something like "English Speaking Club"?
Just throwing the idea to see if it sticks (they say one of the ways to see if spaghetti is cooked is to throw some against a wall; if it sticks to the wall - it is cooked)

Anyway, lemmeno
(let me know)
Pretty good idea...
Author, should we gather together in some place?
As for me, I should ask to come Deather,Kaelin,Thomas,Borman,Lilu, Stas thursday and you of course...It seems to me they would be interested in such thing, wouldn't you folks?
what i meant was: instead of just showing up and staring @ each other, we could adopt some of ESL class activities. for example: (quoting)
I played a game called Amnesia with my conversation class. The way it works is to have cards with famous names on them, like "Madonna", "Tom Cruise", etc. and each student gets a card, but CANNOT look at it! The task of the students is to break up into group s or pairs and try to tell each other what the identity is! It works great, and gets them thinking and talking. Once someone had "remembered" his/her identity, I handed over a new one, and s/he had to start over!! We played for 50 minutes, but I would say to max out at 40 minutes. They loved it, and it can get LOUD!
(end of quote)
IMHO, that would be a nice thing to do, especially for a mixed group of English speakers. ( i presume there would be beginners to pros there)

yes,it's interesting idea,but unfortunately I don't know,when i'll be in Melitopol.
errrm... currently there are about 5 games/activities - the "icebreaker" type of things. That's all I have at the moment. If any of you are willing to contribute - you're more than welcome!
Since I am just a novice in this forum, I'd like to prefer you, "the old folks" to choose a place/time. I'll do my best to join you then!
